Before establishing his practice Mr Cohen was counsel at White & Case starting in 2001, after serving as international lawyer and senior legal consultant for the French aluminum producer Pechiney for 25 years.  His experience includes negotiating and drafting licensing, know-how, technical assistance, turnkey construction, joint venture, agency, and purchase and sale agreements and also advise on antitrust matters, mergers and acquisitions, ICC arbitrations and business development strategy. Prior to taking his position with Pechiney, Mr Cohen was a senior consultant at a Ford Foundation Commission, an advisor to the PBS television program "The Advocats" and Assistant Attorney General in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

Mark Cohen teaches a course entitled “The History of the United States Viewed through Its Legal System” at the business school in Lille l’EDHEC.
